Altverse Joins Chainlink BUILD Program to Supercharge Adoption of Decentralized Identity
We’re excited to announce that Altverse is officially joining the Chainlink BUILD program. As a part of BUILD, we aim to accelerate ecosystem growth and long-term adoption of decentralized identity solutions by gaining enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading oracle services and technical support, as well as incentivizing greater cryptoeconomic security, in exchange for a commitment to provide network fees and other benefits to the Chainlink community and service providers, including stakers.
Our participation in BUILD furthers our integration with Chainlink, with added benefits of priority support from the Chainlink ecosystem, increased access to dApps needing decentralized identity solutions, and stronger incentive alignment between the Chainlink and Altverse communities.
We’re confident that through enhanced support, secure off-chain services, and the backing of Chainlink’s vibrant community, we can accelerate awareness of Altverse and realize the adoption of transparent, privacy-preserving digital identity solutions powered by Web3 technology.
Altverse: Bringing Decentralized Digital Identity to Life
Altverse’s mission is to create a holistic decentralized digital identity (DID) solution that gives users ownership over their skills, achievements, and credentials. Altverse accomplishes this through a platform that makes it seamless for different parties (freelancers, contributors, projects, etc.) to transact with each other.
At the base level is Altverse’s digital identity solution: A profile that houses a user’s various credentials and achievements. These can be earned through the Altverse platform by completing quests that verify professional skills, different types of social media interactions, and other data points for creating a more holistic decentralized identity. Completing a quest rewards a user with a soulbound NFT that serves as proof of the aforementioned skill or social media interaction.
Whether it’s Web3 projects looking for contributors and engaged community members or independent businesses hiring contractors, the Altverse application is built to connect parties through user-owned digital identities with robust verification.
Why We Joined Chainlink BUILD
Altverse joined BUILD to maximize the benefits of security and reliability that Chainlink’s Oracle infrastructure provides. As part of BUILD, Altverse will receive key benefits, including integration of Chainlink Automation to help automate custom dynamic NFT experiences for users, Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) for fair reward distributions and access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, among other benefits.
In exchange for these services, Altverse will make 7% of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time. These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.
